Words matter, all day, every day.

Perhaps they don’t seem to matter on the surface, but think about it for a second. Words are an important part of the message, which leads to the thought, then the emotion, ultimately influencing your frame of mind as you respond to the message. And your response does not even need to be expressed out loud to have an effect on you.

So something as subtle as a single word in a tiny phrase can have a huge impact on what gets triggered. And what gets triggered has a huge impact on what comes next.
